This is just a little update to let you know the 2008 Gathering of the Juggalos is still very much in effect and on point. In addition to booking over 100 music performances we've also got news for those of you who've already bought your 2008 Gathering tickets. Gathering tickets will ship out on Monday, April 7th, 2008. That's Monday of next week, so keep your eyes on your mailbox next week, the flavor's on its way. Once Monday hits, we are also cutting off the free T-shirts. So if you want a free T-Shirt with your Gathering tickets, make sure your order is (or was) placed by Sunday April 6th. So on Monday the tickets are going out with free T-shirts, but any orders placed Monday or beyond will not be getting the free extra flavor. Hold on to those tickets, Juggalos, we're almost ready to drop some more devastation, and you're not gonna wanna miss this one...

No, you haven't been fooled. The 9th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos will take place from August 7 to 10, 2008 in Cave-In-Rock, IL, and next Friday, November 2, 2007 tickets and car passes will go on sale. It's hard to believe tickets are on sale this early, but with the tremendous success of the 2007 Gathering, we wanted to get an early start on the Gathering 2008. Now you know what to put on your Xmas wish list! (Pssst: it's "A Ticket to the Gathering" that you want to put on your wish list!)
Yep, we're getting going to make sure this year's Gathering tops the success of 2007, which people are still raving about. The Hatchet Landings in Cave-In-Rock proved to be a truly devastating venue for the Gathering, providing everyone with enough space to permit free tent camping for all in attendance. The heat was a bitch (it happens during record heat waves), but we're taking steps to put in more cool-down stations to get water onto your boiling skin. The better majority of the roads in the park are now paved as well, cutting down on that dust gravel trails are so known to produce. These are just some of the little practical things that we're doing to make the Gathering that much fresher for everyone.
But it doesn't stop there! Once again, the Gathering will be bringing back the finest entertainment the underground has to offer, with over 100 bands to blow your eardrums up with musical flavor. Besides your favorite up-and-coming acts, expect to see some heavy-hitters from all corners of the underground scene throwing down this year in southern Illinois.
And you aren't going to be waiting until June to receive your tickets for the Gathering either! Yes, Gathering 2008 tickets will ship early 2008 and be in your hot little hands months in advance so the anticipation can get to you. Those who convince their parents to order a Gathering ticket as a Xmas gift wouldn't be waiting long to have their present in their mitts.
Gathering season is coming early this year, and that can only mean that the Gathering will be that much fresher for it. Keep your wig firmly strapped, because it's only getting fresher from here!

Juggalos! We just got back from Hatchet Landings and Holy Shit are we still reeling! We gotta say that was one of the freshest Gatherings ever! There was so much different flavor it would be impossible to pick a favorite, but we gotta say that the Underground was in full and total effect! There were soooooooo many groups there performing, promoting, partying, and playin the game! It may've been a campground, but there was some hustlin goin on in them streets! A tear of pride runs down our painted faces.
Psychopathic Records would like to thank all the Juggalos who came this year. You all freaked it to get there, and you kept freaking it all weekend long! We'd also like to thank all the groups that performed on all three stages. We all prove that music doesn't have to be in arenas or on the radio to be the freshest, strongest music out there. This Gathering proved that the Underground has more dope performing artists than the radio has songs on its playlist!
We also want to thank every single ninja who lent a helping hand over the weekend, from the folks of Hogrock to every single Juggalo who went that extra mile to help out a homie or keep things fresh (special shout outs to the crews of Ajax, Autopzy, Edifide, and Rude Boi for helping pick up trash). Anyone we missed, you're still the shit! Much Clown Love to all Juggalos, and we'll see you at the Gathering 2008!
